Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts and installation requirements.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests on HVAC systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and electricians, to complete installations efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations throughout all installations and repairs.
Experience

  • Proven experience in HVAC installation or a related field is required, specifically with the following:
  • -Chilled water systems
  • -Large Commercial boilers
  • -Cooling towers
  • -Large package equipment
  • -Controls and actuators
  • -VRF
  • Familiarity with property maintenance is advantageous.
  • S1 or S2 license is required.
  • Ability to drive a van or similar vehicle for transportation to job sites is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
